Ilya Sorokin

I feel that Islanders Goalie Ilya Sorokin is underrated in the game. He is listed as Starter Medium 82 OVR. He's been a brick wall as of late. Sports media is calling him the future of the franchise in net. A potential franchise changing goaltender. I just feel his potential and overall should be higher. 

Is it too much to say he should be High/Med Elite and 85-86 OVR. He's so much better than half the top goalies in the league. For example Igor Shesterkin (NYR) is listed at High Elite and 86 OVR. If Shesterkin is that, than Sorokin should be the same if not even higher than that. Sorokin is a much better goalie. I've gone to many games this year both NYI and NYR and I can say Sorokin is better. Even some NHL media say he's unbelievably good. One person on NHL Network said Sorokin and Varlamov are the one of if no the top goalie tantrum in the league.

Maybe I'm home team biased but Sorokin should be much better than listed in game. He had a few bumps in the road but that's understandable for a guy who came over from another country and league and started his first game with 5 minutes notice. During his debut, Varlamov got injured during warmups and Sorokin needed to jump in.
