Yeah that feature has been removed from NHL22

Edit: I have confirmed that the controller overlay didn't make it into NHL 22. We're hoping to see this return in future games.

I have same problems with PS5 and LG oled CX. Network connections seems to be ok with 300/300 fibre and i'm using wired connection. Example in rivals i'am having 15ms no packet loss connection which should be good enough for smooth gameplay.

I've tried changing dns settings and other setting too. Re-installed the game two times and recreated database. Disabling hdr settings etc. No effect!

I've found these laggin / input lag problems in every hut game modes, only hut rush seems to be working better and smoother.

Gameplay feels like syrup, every second button press don't count. Players feels like they are 200kg heavy and even Kane can't deke. Feels like i'm few steps late all the time.

There were no such problems in previous release of the serie.

its pretty obvious they've messed with the gameplay sliders in order to make it feel like a different game.

but all this is doing is ruining the game.
its no longer smooth, the physics are wacky, the best plays are not hockey plays.
the people at the top of the leader boards aren't the best players.
they are the best at exploiting glitches and bugs.

We'll need to go through some connection troubleshooting to see if that helps. Are you playing on a wired or wireless connection? Also, alternate DNS settings may help. Those instructions can be found here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

Are you talking about my statement regarding Dolby Vision? Yes, that was new to me, but it doesn't mean I don't know anything about this game. The same goes for the controller overlay. That's been there for years and I haven't needed to use it yet. This was the first time. So, that's why it was brought to my attention. We ask for videos because once the game releases, we have a far higher amount of people playing the game than when it's being tested. New issues come up. We need to see what's happening so they can be reproduced on our end.
