Still having these problems. Hope this is still under investigation. Game is unplayable.
With Roster Sharing being added tomorrow, hopefully the patch will include a fix for this issue.
Sorry for the double post but I just played a game on Game Speed 3 in the new update and it seems to be fixed!

You can't change the gamespeed for HUT so if you're lagging there, that's a different issue. We'd need to go through some troubleshooting. Are you on PS5 also? Do you have a wired or wireless connection?
