Lately Playing NHL 14 Ive Been Getting Random Blue squares on the ice

While im skating , these rectangular bluish boxes populate near me as  I skate through an area. The boxes have some kind of patteren within them, ,not quite checkerboard, maybe diagnal lines.Any idea...

its the game telling you where you should be on a forecheck, like the positional arrows. go into the settings and u can turn it off from there.

    That's right. Created plays are red squares I think. Just haven't had this stuff on in ages. Thanks rosecitysniper!
