Whenever an item is sold via the Auction House in NHL 16, a sales tax of roughly 5% is applied. This is part of the auction system in the game, is applied to all sales, and is non-refundable. The fee is applied upon a successful sale, but will not be taken from an unsuccessful sale.

Here's an example of how this fee works:

    • Item sale price: 1000 Coins
    • Final Transaction Fee: 50 Coins (5%)
    • Coins added to the sellers balance: 950 Coins

The Final Transaction Fee helps to maintain a fair and accessible market for all players, new and old.
