Missing Trade Offer Players In HUT

I sent a trade offer for an auction card; a base Artemi Pannarin and Jeffskinner for (Game Day) Kuzmenko and sent a base Kucherov for a HUT Team of the week Petey (Peterson Canucks) 

and I didn’t get them back.

later I turned my console back on, quit the game and restarted it; I went back to my item inbox to find two items, two non tradable players of much lesser value (pic below). What’s going on, how can this happen in the game, did I miss something??

is it possible to be compensated some how?
