My take on NHL 18

I have played a ton of the beta to date at all positions and wanted to give my take on the beta as well as see if my opinions match what the rest of the community thinks.  

First the things I love:

3's is an awesome game mode, especially in club.

Goalies seem to be able to follow the puck better

Brought back skater customization features in EASHL

Pokes/Defensive Skill Stick

Things I'm not in love with:

No 12 man lobbies (Must fix) - Without this feature, I'm stuck playing against at least 3 computers the majority of the time and this is NOOOO fun.

Dekes are overly complicated to execute, why not utilize some of the other buttons on the controller to perform or assign buttons manually?

Skaters feel too heavy and move very slow

For EASHL, please consider the addition of delay of game penalties.  (If confused please youtube Flyers mock Lightning's 1-3-1 and you'll see the similarities in the EASHL lobbies)

Overall, I think NHL 18 made some headway in giving the community some great new modes and kept a lot of what I liked from the previous title.  However, we need 12 man lobbies to come back.  For those who want to be matched up randomly have that option as I know it can be difficult to align a dozen people but for the rest of us we deserve to play a game without it turning into 6 vs 2.
