New Score Overlay ... thoughts?

IMO it is HORRENDOUS and a HUGE distraction. It needs to be scraped!  It makes the game look 100% like a video game. It takes real ness away from the game. It’s too “flashy”... always flashing and throwing colors around in its background distracting me from actual gameplay. Why does it need to flash and flutter so much! Like when I’m on a power play?!?  That’s absolutely stupid!!! Is there an option to change it?!?

  • I barely notice it now which is fantastic. Back when I was playing RD in EASHL and my buddy was either LW or C, the puck was ALWAYS in the top left corner of the ice and was hidden behind the score clock - it tried its best to fade away but it just didn't cut it after a while.

Looks nicer when taking photos and videos as well 👍

  • As a LD,  I liked the old score clock much more.  I never had an issue seeing the play in the offensive corner as the score clock would fade when the puck got remotely close to that area. But now, it’s much worse And the problem is now in your own defensive end. The new score overlay doesn’t fade at all and I’m constantly losing the puck in my DEFENSIVE corner behind the overlay that blocks the entire bottom of the screen. If you ask me, as a Dman, I would much rather lose the puck for a second in the offensive corners than my own defensive ones.   The only way to work around that is take the overlay off all the way and I don’t like that either as I like to how much time is left without having to pause.

Crazy to think how many little problems would be fixed with simple customization eh?

I still stand by my previous statement that this new scoreclock is better but am definitely not opposed to having other options
