NHL 07 asks for Directx9.0c but I do have that setup cannot continue

Hi, I have the disc version of NHL 07 setup started perfectly fine but it comes to a point asks me for directx 9.0c to continue and suddenly stops the setup process. My pc is Windows 10 and have DX12...
