NHL 14 Be a pro mode

So in NHL 11 when you setup be a pro, you could play every shift regardless if your created player was on the ice or not. When I bought NHL 13, this was missing. I was so frustrated and bored just sitting there waiting for it to be my turn to play again that I quit be a pro and never played it again. I now have NHL 14 and I was hoping EA would have realized what a mistake it was to leave such an important option out, that they would add it back in again.

I have searched high and low, but I can't find the option. Does anyone know if this can be done in NHL 14 or will it be another year of not playing be a pro because it blows?

Thanks!

No I believe it is not possible to play every shift in be a pro mode in either NHL 13 or NHL 14. You can however choose how to simulate the shifts you are not on until your shift comes up again. Simulating the shifts you are not on should speed up your game play.

  • I beleive Innerwalker is right. the closest you are going to get is to change the "Be a Pro Setting" to Authentic and then sim to your next shift.

I believe you can set the settings to classic instead of authentic, that way your player is always on the ice, at least for the most part. As well as when you are on the bench you can hit O/B and call for a line change to put yourself back on.

This is the only way I know of to play constantly in BAP.
