NHL 14 Game Clock

Good Evening,

   I have been playing NHL 14 tonight for the first time, and am loving the game. I am playing '94 Anniversary mode. However I cannot seem to make the periods last longer than 5 minutes. Even when the time is set to "20 Minutes" the clock runs 4 times as fast! How do I make this clock go slower? I've been Googling for an hour now with no solution!
