So, I bought the Ultimate edition for x360 and decided to go ahead and spend the extra money even though this year's game is a glorified roster update and tuner at best. I've been buying NHL games since they started making them and this is the first year that I honestly wish stores would give refunds. This game is a disgrace on so many levels. Anyways, that being said I cannot open ANY of my packs. I've got like 4 packs from the ultimate edition sitting there that I can't open plus like 3 packs from doing collections. Add to that, that now all of a sudden I can't search for cards in the market because upon backing out to the main HUT menu, the game freezes. EVERY TIME. I've tried deleting all saves, clearing cache, etc...no avail.
So, not only did I pay more money for an inferior product, but I'm locked out of the extra content that I purchased and am left with a broken HUT mode. I called EA support and they directed me here telling me they had no way or looking into this. I would like my bonus packs, plus my collection packs and some compensation of some sort. If this isn't resolved soon, I would like a refund. In fact, EA should offer a refund to everybody who's been duped by both current gen and last gen games. They have stooped to an all time low this year.
This is just ridiculous. Please can anybody tell me who to contact, or have I just been ripped off by one of the biggest gaming companies in the world? To tell a customer to go on a forum due to "lack of proper resources" to help me over the phone is absolutely absurd. I've also been told that I'll most likely get no help here, but I've got to try. Thanks
