NHL 16 EASHL Input lag/input delay

I am posting as a user in the United States versus Canadian. This game is junk. I have done everything humanly possible to fix this input delay that EA programmed into the game.

Everything feels sluggish and slow where it looks smooth for the other team...

There is no frame skipping, game speed looks Normal, however, when controlling the players, you can feel how sluggish and how much slower your players respond versus your opponent. The opponents players turn faster and are far more agile looking where my players are slow, sluggish, react slow and everything drags out. Nothing is quick..

If I hit left or right it responds slow and sluggish. If you position lock, then it is isolated to just my player... The computer moves normal and fast where just my controlled player is sluggish and slow. If it was lag, then I would see it on both sides. The game appears to be running fine, no skipping, speed is fast.... Control of my team is ridiculous and slow, extremely difficult to control.

So just observing the game it's harder to tell, you will see that one team looks faster than the other and movements for one team appear a bit slower and jagged, but you definitely can feel and see the difference controlling it...

It's so annoying I am ready to give up on EA. This happens to people on every EA game... Fifa and NHL series experience the same issues. I am not sure how the game dictates who gets this lag, but about 99 percent of the games I play online in any mode I experience this half second to 1 second delay.

EA, IF YOU DO NOT FIX THIS, I AND I AM SURE MANY OTHERS WILL STOP BUYING THIS TRASH. MANY PEOPLE HAVE, KEEP ACTING TOUGH AND YOU WILL SEE. IT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM PEOPLE HAVE JUNK INTERNET, THAT IS THEIRS, IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED SPEED, DO NOT LET THEM ENTER A MATCH, PUT A SPLASH SCREEN IN THE GAME THAT SAYS:

UPGRADE YOUR PILE OF JUNK INTERNET YOU GLITCHING TRASHCAN

A USER POSTED THIS: COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT BETTER.

What many refer to as ice-ti** (don't ban me like communists because I'm seriously not talking about ice ti**) is actually an issue with lag compensation. EA has had issues in the past with games like battlefield's lag compensation, and for years now it has RUINED competitiveness and the overall point of playing HUT. It can feel like the other team has all the advantages if there are lag compensation problems, which there are in 90% of games. I do not know if it is advantageous to have better or worse ping, but there is 0 doubt in my mind that this is a legitimate and game breaking issue. I have come to this conclusion after 5 years of playing this series online for over 500 hours per game, just online. I noticed the issues most in the last two games and originally blamed it on ice **** and thought EA had it out to get me. I now realize that they don't decide if you are going to lose, it is just a matter of the lag compensation. For instance someones players may be twice as fast, you can't touch the puck, you can't hit the net, connect a pass, make a one timer, or score on Jesus in the other net while your cone lets in every shot. This is the result of the game trying to compensate for lag, and doing a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad job.

Now, I have 25 mb/s download speeds on my ethernet connection that I use to play this game (yet somehow I still dc from EA servers sometimes ) so I doubt that I am the one lagging, unless the problem is the server sending back to me, because lets face it, for probably the richest game company, EA still manages to have the worst servers. This shows up for me by the other team, most of the time, appearing to have advantages. I am not making excuses for getting outplayed, because I am not the best and I do get outplayed a lot, but I would say 75% of my games I completely dominate and should win by 3 or 4 yet end up losing because of what others misinterpret as ice ****. I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR that I am not complaining about my losses because I feel they are unjust, I am trying to shed light on what I truly believe to be a game-breaking error in the game for many players. If you reinterpet people's complaining about ice **** as issues with lag compensation, it becomes a lot less "tin foil hat" theories, and makes sense.

I don't know how to fix this obviously because its not my job (although I wish it was because when EA's devs do theirs it will be a cold day in ****) but I believe that if they do not fix it, they should remove it all together and just let the player lag, not punish the player with a better connection.
Call it my own conspiracy theory, but I genuinely believe that lag compensation is SERIOUSLY and exceptionally messed up with the region of Montreal, because at least in my experience and probably many others' the game play is always incredibly unbalanced and skewed when playing them (it would also explain whey almost everyone in the top divisions are QC because lets be honest, and not to be mean, they are not on average better than the rest of the world, they just get advantages). Maybe it has to do with the server they play on or the server between my region and Quebec, but I back out of every game against someone from Montreal because I know I can expect an inordinate amount of lag compensation.

EA: Please do not interpret this post as a mindless complaint about ice ****, once again, it is not. I am trying to shed light on what, based on a ton of experience, I believe to be the cause of a major issue that you are simply blowing off right now as angry bad players trying to pass blame. Just try to entertain the idea that lag compensation may be skewing game play unfairly and if you believe it is even remotely possible, please try to fix it.
Personally, I believe it is a waste to play a game online for the purpose of competition if the game is unbalanced towards one side because of sources outside your power, and as such, I will not be buying another NHL or HUT packs unless this issue, or a similar one, is addressed.

    For your consideration.

Don't waste your time and money upgrading your internet speed or buying a new router. I've literally done everything possible (upgraded to fastest internet, hard wire connection, port forwarding, dmz) in 3 places I have played NHL and still lag in EVERY single game, home or away it doesn't matter. I have 50 mpbs download speed and still cannot play NHL for the life of me bc of lag. I've also played on connections with 100 mbps, and guess what it still lags horribly every single game. I haven't spent a dime on the game in 2 months now and refuse to ever spend more money on HUT. I'm just sticking to other games like COD that actually work bc those companies aren't total [Edit - Admin.]

So why EA hasn't fix the problem or are you even doing something for that or do you even know what is causing the problem? I think the major problem is that network connection is routing to US instead of Europe when we are playing from Europe.
