NHL 18 connecting online never has everything else does

Why is NHL 18 the only game that won't connect on xbox 1?

It's very possible 19 or 20 will connect for you. Do you have an EA Access subscription by chance? You can try out a trial of the game if you do.

You might be able to get your ISP to help with getting your IPv to be on 4 and not both 4 and 6.

IT IS THE SERVER. Right now the status shows down and the date is Aug. 1. All of this trying settings and resets and ports is useless. we are stuck until the server is fixed.

    Where are you seeing it's down? I checked myself and I can see there are people playing on both Xbox and PlayStation.

    @EA_Aljo Not everyone. And its definitely down where I live. all of my other games connect, so its an 18 server issue, not the ports or mac address, etc. The only time it hasn't worked over the years is when the server is down.
