NHL 19 ON PC

Seems crazy it's still not on PC.  Easy buy for me as well.

Yea, but they did it with Madden.

I wonder what the excuse is? It's probably that they don't have the resources even though they are making loads of money.

It's probably cuz their switching the controls to PC

Have other iterations received a PC release? To my knowledge, hockey in general is on the lower end of the global popularity scale, meaning less revenue - PC sales for sports games tend to sell less than console as well which negatively affects your chances further.

That said, I hope you can get the release you want eventually.

However, NHL sells the most in Canada since it is the most popular sport in Canada. It also sells a lot in the northern states in America. Hopefully people can recognize this and capitalize on the money waiting in Canada. 

Madden and Fifa's popularity trumps Canada and NHL in every aspect from a simple population stand-point alone though - to further cater to a niche market isn't worth their time, unfortunately. With Sony's new stance on cross-play and a very simplified control scheme, *maybe* we can see a PC release next year.

I don't want to sound so negative; a lot of my friends play on PC so it would be nice for them to have the option, but from everything I've heard from other games to some EA employees themselves, there's nothing we can ultimately do but hope for an influx of new hockey fans, or someone to take the initiative and create a rudimentary build with modern mechanics to evolve from

Hopefully, they will release a new update for PC in the next coming months. 

That's why it makes me so happy that the PC fans continues to tell EA SPORTS that we are hungry for a NHL game on PC. I do see people wanting this more than ever, almost everyday someone posts on NHL on PC on the EA forums and I see people talk about it all over the internet as PC gaming is bigger than ever.

I have loved EA since 1998 and i got my first NHL game on N64: NHL 99.

But I have been active in the NHL PC community since 2004 and the community is very active. The Latest NHL released on PC was in 2008 (NHL 2009) and I have been waiting over 10 years for their next release!! It's time they do something about it and include PC gamers in the NHL games again!

Think about how many potential fans on PC! Even People who don't play sports games will be interested, people who play on console will switch to PC or go back to PC, they will buy and play THE ONE real Hockey game on available on the most power system. We got Madden on PC and Origin, for me who have never cared about that sport or had no clue about that Sport. Why did I get interested about Madden then? Cause the game was available to me!! and look how great it turned out for that game..

But Origin needs NHL added up there with Madden and FIFA, we want a larger catalog on Origin!! Me as an EA fan wants to be able to play ANY EA Game on any console/System that i prefer.

Go with the times EA and become flexible!
