NHL 19 PLAYER TYPE TENDENCIES

What are the tendencies for PLY, SNP, PWF, TWF, OFD, DFD and TWD?

  • Hey @pittsburgh6687,

There are no specific tendencies attached to these player types.  The player types represent how we distributed the attribute ratings.  For example, a Power Forward would have a higher stat in Strength and Balance compared to a Sniper.  And a Defensive Defenseman would have a higher stat in Defensive Awareness and Shot Blocking compared to an Offensive Defenseman.

  • Human player tendencies usually go as follows.

PF - Usually right infront of the net, surprisingly good at deflections. Tend to power through the middle.

Sniper - Always go up the sides and circle in and around the faceoff circles.

DFD/TWD/OFF/TWF- Watch the blue line for slap one-timers. Two ways usually stick to the center

Playmaker - Will cut into the goalies for dekes but usually stick to the sides hoping for a cheesey cross goal.

And no difference on the ice whatsoever. Every player plays exactly the same (makes strange decisions 98% of the time).
