NHL 20 - Chat box won't go away!

I believe my problem is with the "Accessibility" features. Whenever I go to play any online mode (3v3, club, drop in, etc) I have a chat box stuck on the right hand side of the screen (sort of middle upper right) and it obstructs the view. I have gone through every menu/setting option and nothing removes it. The only thing I have not been able to alter is"Chat Accessibility" in the Accessibility settings menu. Both the "Speech to Text" and "Text to Speech" are set to ON.....but GREYED out and not changeable.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to try and rectify the issue and that has not worked.

any help would be appreciated.

    If you haven't gotten the figured out yet, follow these steps on your console:

    Settings>Ease of Access>Game transcription>Uncheck Speech-to-text on & Text-to-speech on

    Restart the game and you'll those Chat Accessibility Settings turned to OFF in the game.

    I appreciate the response and Yes, I have checked all of the settings both in the game and the console and I still have this issue. 

    Are there any other suggestions? Can anyone tell me why in the accessibility menu the 2 likely culprits are locked to "on" and greyed out?

    Have you been trying to change settings in the main menu or in World of Chel? First screen you get when opening the game should override everything so your situation is a little weird. 

    I'll try to fiddle around with my settings a little later and get back to you

    Yeah it's the same regardless. I've tried from the main menu, world of chel, in game....you name it.

    @iyrtitl4u Unfortunately I have received ZERO help from EA. I appreciated some people in the forums make suggestions....but so far nothing has helped.

    I have a feeling it's a bug related to the 10hr trial, but I frankly just don't know.

    @Hkycountry Damn. Yea bro I don’t think it’s from the trial. I accidentally like sat on my controller while playing Ones & it just started fit me like a week ago. It’s impossible to play if you’re opps or teammates are talking w Game Chat. I’ve got the hard copy too & I’ve tried everything suggested - nothing. 🤦🏼‍♂️
