We'll need to get this logged down first. I am not sure how reproducible this is. If others can confirm positions and when they exactly experience this and the level of their player we can get an idea where in the timeline it happens. These games are saved locally and there is unfortunately no method through our tools to correct this outside of a patch/update, therefore all we can do on our end in the community is gather the info for the team to bug it.

I am having this same issue. Here are the details of my side of things.
Gamertag/PSN ID = grey-suit13
Platform = PS4
Player Position = Center
Rating = 99
Where game freeze takes place = I’m in game three of the Stanley Cup Final, Be A Pro.
As others have said, it’s super frustrating to put time into a game only to be blocked on a storyline.
I’ve attached an image for context. Before game three I get a Perk Renewal, and my agent comes up. Well, that screens displays without any UI/choices as others have stated. If I move my left joysticks I do here the UI sounds, but I cannot make a choice to move forward. The only way out is to force quit the application.
