There are a couple of ways to view your draft picks if you really don’t feel like doing the draft.
In the contracts screen you can view players who are “unsigned” and manually view their profile one by one to see when and which spot they were drafted.
Maybe the better way would be to actually start the draft and then use the “sim entire draft” feature under sim options and then it will still auto draft for you but show all of your picks before you exit the draft.
If you are having problems signing your draft picks it is most likely because you are at the maximum limit for players under contract as normally they always accept their offer.
ya that is usually the problem i have after each draft *talking bout in previous EA SPORTS NHL GAMES as well* i usually don't like to trade players that generated massive points for me in the previous season because i can never get any good rated players in return for them so i just re-sign the players i have already as much as possible then do trades during the season which turns out great for me in the long run at least it did for me during my second nhl 21 franchise mode season
thanks for giving me the tips bout the draft and stuff but just wondering if you or anyone you know who plays does the draft or do you just sim through it cuz i am feel like doing that...just trying to get a consensus on how many franchise players actual continue doing the draft
The one thing about simming the entire draft is that you will always auto pick the player ranked closest to the spot you pick. So if you do happen to find a late round gem, they will rarely be the player you take.
I never sim the draft personally, but I always try to keep scouting realistic for me which means not finding out potentials of most players and putting the settings on low and trying to take players that fit my style of play.
I usually make a list of players I want to take with my picks and make any trades needed right away. I’ll then sim up to all my picks. I can usually do the entire draft in about 10 minutes if I have a group of players already in mind and trading works out. I definitely don't sit through the draft and watch other teams pick, that would take forever.
thanks for the advice i didn't think you simmed the drafted but just had to ask..i was thinking on doing that due to the bad luck i had signing those draft picks due to running out of money by the time i came up to signing them cuz i always start with my established players first which majority of the time kicks me right in the backside...so what i think i am going to do next time is check my list of potential picks and write them down which i haven't done in the past so i have a better chance of getting good players instead of just randomness
