    For better transparency let us acknowledge what has been done in this forum post.

    • An issue was raised to us here players are freezing during Threes Eliminator when playing with a friend
    • In the past, we've seen players get around this by changing their profile picture. Our goal is to help get you back into the game by finding workaround fixes while we alert the team of the issue
    • We've gathered account examples and submitted it to the team
    • This is currently under investigation by the NHL team.

Platform:Xbox Series X
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Boot up game from dashboard 2. Enter World of Chel 3. Select Three Eliminator 4. Select Drop-In 5. Press A to select player 6. Press A again to confirm Ready 7. Press A for Start Matchmaking 8. Wait for game to find a match 9. Screen will momentarily flash to confirm team partners and opponents 10. Game proceeds to Round 1 graphic 11. EA Sports logo in upper right hand corner will spin and then stop 12. Game will not proceed to match but freeze at this screen 13. Game will then go to screen saying "Unable to Advance - Match has not met the minimum players requirement"
What happens when the bug occurs? 100%
What do you expect to see? I expect the match to load up after the Round 1 graphic is shown. The search time is usually under 2:00 min so there are players online and I should be able to get into a match. This does not occur when I play the Xbox One version of the game.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online

    I'm having the exact same problem....Cannot play Ones or Threes Eliminator....i can get into all other CHEL game modes.

    I see the Round 1 screen load an get stuck there; eventually it will time out.

    I have deleted and reinstalled the game with no luck.

      @BD755 There must be other users who have this problem. I hope they will actually look into this, it's a huge bug.

        I was able to resolve the problem.

        I closed the game on my xbox, i then went into my EA Sports online account and disconnected the link with XBOX.

        When i started the game again i needed to re-login to the EA Account and reestablish the link.

        After that i was able to get into Eliminator games as well as the online versus without a problem

    Love how EA can't even take time to respond. I'm about done buying their crap.

      Maybe Microsoft is going to buy them too, so much like Activision, they gave up.

    I'm having the same problem. Can't advance past the orange screw. Any fix?

    I unlinked and everything reset my cbox nothing works i want my money back

    @MarchMadness2003 Ultimately im considering selling my Xbox series s because hockey is all I play my Xbox one has the same issues

    My boys and I can’t get into any eliminator lobbies either. EA help has been absolutely no help with this. One dude said “change your gamer picture from custom to standard” but that’s not only dumb af, it didn’t work. No idea how to fix it

    Hey EA,

    Whats up? How have you been?  We haven't spoken directly since FIFA 2021. We all see what happened to that game after that! Great job!! Hey, can you check out this loading issue we're all seeing. I'm seeing mine on my Xbx1.

      It's kind of pathetic that you take people's money and then ban them when they express displeasure because they can't play what they paid for.
