Nhl 23 failing to load from external hard drive

Nhl 23 will not load  from my external hard drive after switching from a xbox one s to an all digital xbox one,,,Load to the starting screen, get the HDR symbols, and then boots me back to the xbox d...

Can you try installing it to the internal hard drive instead?
