nhl 23 on pc
hello dear developers. I know that NHL is not released on PC. you said that if there is demand, you will return the series to the PC. so I know a lot of people who would like to play this wonderful...
Madden and FIFA are way more popular than NHL, that's why we don't get a port. They should work toward fixing a bunch of current issues before even considering taking time/resources to make one anyway

They are litteraly the only country that play this sport where hockey is play all around the globe.
Canada has a huge NFL following, and also has its own football league - the CFL.
Americans go cuckoo for cocopuffs over football; that's just the way it is, I don't understand it.
It could come down to hockey being split up into various leagues or the fact it's expensive to get into but it just isn't as popular as other sports
Hockey really isn't so popular all around the globe. Unlike soccer which truly is a global sport. Hockey tends to be more popular in colder climates. Also, there can be a pretty big barrier to entry as the gear you need can be pretty expensive. In the case of ice hockey, you need access to a rink. Of course ball hockey and floorball are a lot more accessible and less expensive, but you still need to find others to play with. That can be tough in some regions. We'd all love to see hockey be more popular all over the world, but unfortunately, that's just not the case.
I also think the NHL lacks the marketable players. Most NHLers are lowkey. They just wanna play hockey and keep to themselves. NFL has the Odell Beckam Jrs, the Terrell Owens etc. NBA is a players league. No helmets, no clunky padding. You can see them clear as day. And the vast majority of them WANT to be seen. They want the spotlight and the fame. Similarly to soccer. They don't have helmets or padding. You can see and connect to the players much easier.
NHL is trying to become more open. We see the NHL personalities on youtube every now and then. But like I said NHLers are about as exciting as wet paper. Subban gets crushed by fans and media for being interesting. Our culture as a whole needs a massive shift to market the game more. Floor hockey and street hockey are easy. Can do it anywhere. But we need to market our players as well as celebrate our personalities more. Would help to have more Subban type players in the league that make things exciting.
Those are some really excellent points @JeremyCuddles. On the other hand, you get very passionate fans that love the sport more than the players and their off-ice antics.
