I'm one of those who haven't played an NHL game on PC since 09.
A few years after that when it looked like EA wasn't going to do a thing about it I also stopped purchasing EA games altogether. I'm only one customer so i'm sure i'm not even a blip on their radar but I refuse to give any of my hard earned money to them until they get NHL back on PC.
Have i missed out on great games? Sure but the beauty of PC gaming is there is a ton of choices and I can play games from 20 years ago if i really want to (and ironically enough that's pretty much what I do whenever I feel the itch to play NHL on PC) without having to worry about it working (to some point).
If it's true that EA doesn't have an exclusivity on NHL games I wish we could see another company step up.
@pamba1e2ojb5 Yeah you would think that a team could make an exclusive game for PC. Granted it would take 3-4 years to develop and then hope it's good. I have faith the future will someday get that PC title sooner than later. Once they drop the PS4/XB1 and make a complete crossplay ecosystem that a PC version would be a part of it.
Back when they stopped PC gaming had gotten kinda stagnant and consoles were the huge craze but with the chip shortage and stuff it has boomed more people to PC gaming than ever.
