NHL 94 Rewind

Hey, NHL Community!

Today (10/02) the NHL team announced over Twitter that NHL 94 Rewind will be available to play on October 30th! NHL 94 Rewind brings back classic, fan-favorite modes from the original NHL 94, like Exhibition, Playoffs, and Best of Seven. It also features the original soundtrack, but adds a modern touch with current NHL players. The Community Manager for NHL 21 showcased it here!

How do I get NHL 94 Rewind?
Anyone who pre-ordered NHL®21 before October 16, 2020 will be able to download and install NHL 94 Rewind on October 30, 2020. 

What if I pre-ordered a physical disc version of NHL 21?

If you bought a physical copy of the game or from a different retailer than Sony or Microsoft, you’ll still need to redeem your pre-order code to get access to NHL 94 Rewind using the below steps.

How to Download on PlayStation 4

  1. Open your Game Library.
  2. Search for NHL 94 Rewind.
  3. Click Download.

How to Download on Xbox One

  1. Go to My Games and Apps from the main Xbox menu.
  2. Search for NHL 94 Rewind.
  3. Find the game and click Install.

    You should receive a code with your pre-order to download NHL 94 Rewind.

    A month after an EA employee comes into the board and says for us to all send them our deets, had to poke them for a response, and got: “I'm very sorry, but we aren't able to help with this. You'll need to contact Amazon to see if they can assist.”

    If amazon were helping, we wouldn’t be here complaining.

    @discoursian 

    There was a brief window where we were able to assist with these. Unfortunately, that had to end as it comes down to the responsibility of the retailer to supply the codes.

    I recently bought the game disc for NHL 21. Is there any way to just get NHL Rewind as an add-on? I see in the Microsoft store that there is a bundle with the game, but I already have that. Thanks!

    I bought the bundle when it was 50% off

    It's worth the money to get the 94. The emulators are good but this has zero glitches. Wish it had online play though.

    Hey @EA_Aljo any plans to add Kraken, or is this game no longer getting updates?


    Doubtful but hopeful question also… any chance of this game going mobile? Would love a classic NHL game on the go.

    I'm not aware of any plans to update NHL 94 Rewind, unfortunately.
