No accounting in Franchise Mode for injured players

Product: NHL 17
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Summarize your bug Franchise mode does not account for injured players in roster size or salary cap. Recently had three injured players, two defensemen. Because the game doesn't account for injury, I can't bring up a player or sign an FA to cover the gap so need to play a forward as a defenseman.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simple method: When a player is injured, they are considered "dropped" from the team and they don't count against the total players allowed (both total roster and NHL roster) and their cap hit is subtracted from the current cap. When they come off IR, they go against the cap and make a warning that a move needs to take place. Realistic method: Same dropping the player from required number. Instead of subtracting the cap, add temporary "additional cap" equal to the cap hit of the player.
What happens when the bug occurs? Don't have enough players to complete an NHL team (see above).
What do you expect to see? Mentioned earlier.

This is one of the most disturbing issues with Franchise Mode, making the game unplayable, which is more depressing because the older series on the PS3 accounted for this. This also was an issue in NHL16.
