No AI stick penalties = cheating

Product: NHL 22
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any mode against the AI
What happens when the bug occurs? No stick penalties, sometimes the AI will put their stick through my legs and feet just to get the puck.
What do you expect to see? The AI take stick penalties
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Offline

‌I don't know why it wasn't fixed in the last update but playing any mode is useless if the AI can simply take the puck off of you no matter what (I've turned sliders to max and nothing) I've seen their sticks go right through my legs to get to the puck. I've actually gotten the AI to take one stick trip, high stick by messing with sliders but I've never had it happen since.

This is a critical issue that makes the game unplayable, If EA can't see it as one then they're allowing their game to cheat us, something I thought they wanted to prove doesn't happen.

I'm not trying to say EA purposely programmed the game to cheat, but the game is doing so regardless. I think all the AI penalties need to be fixed but something like the AI being able to physically put their sticks right through my legs n feet to steal the puck off me is cheating.  Also can you even cross check in these games? In NHL20 I never once took/ saw a cross check.

    Can I get any kind of response to the game cheating? EA want's to preach about not using DOA yet something as big as the AI being able to steal the puck off of us without no consequences is being ignored, NO AI STICK PENALTIES IS CHEATING.

    Anything??? Fair play means nothing if the AI can steal the puck off me each time free of stick penalties.

    We've been cheated by the AI in this game for months now, glad to know EA doesn't see this as a serious issue that enables us from playing the game properly

    Ive had AI take tripping penalties with no call but then Id either check, trip or whatever & refs jumping my * ASAP to give me a penalty. Last year in NHL 21 I got a penalty for tripping my own teammate

    @sensxxx15Any sliders you think helped make the AI take tripping penalties/ was it with their stick or is it when the AI dives and you skate over them?

    Like I said before the AI did take the one stick trip penalty when messing with sliders (I think one slash or highstick too but I cant remember) but it never happened since those times. One other time too was when the AI dove but the game actually gave the tripping penalty to the CPU. I've never taken a penalty on my own teammate tho that sounds so frustrating lol (I bought 20 n skipped 21)

    What happens when the bug occurs? CPU opponent Players never get called for hooking, tripping, or high sticking…EVER. Its as if penalty sliders aren’t actually wired up to anything.
    What do you expect to see? Penalties actually being called on CPU AI opponent

    Penalty frequency set to 3/4.

    CPU penalties dialed up to 100. Human penalties and CPU teammate penalties both dialed down to 20. 


    And yet…

    Games end with me having on average 4 penalties and 0 power plays. I get tripped, hooked, and high sticked but penalties are never called on the CPU.

    32 games in, and I am 32nd in power play opportunities. I have totaled 77, and thats only because of simming. During games I play I get 0 PP opportunites. The team with the most PP opportunities has 124.

    Something is clearly wrong here and it’s frustrating.

    I mean look at the attached photos. The stick is through my thigh, between my skates and I’m getting mounted from behind. NO PENALTY CALLED.

    How does stuff like this make it by testing?? Seriously!?!
