I hope that, we can use rosters of men's world championships in team creation, because can be possible, that EA Sports make own rosters to the men's world championships, which we can't use team creation.
I surprised, that EA has not set right height for every female player, for example Sanni Hakala (Finland) is not 165 cm tall like EA Sports has set, Hakala is 154 cm tall. Even worse is Japan, EA Sports has set Japanase players heights 165 cm-170cm, in real life shortest player in Japan team in 2021 Women's World Championships was Remi Koyama, EA Sports has set for her length 165 cm and Koyamas real length is 146 cm.
Sadly I´m not surprised that EA missed these things.
I would say it´s an insulte to the Women hockey players that EA doesn´t have the correct height and weight on the players.
You could almost ask "doesn´t the people who works for EA have a pride for their work"?
-"Hey Colin, do you know the height for Remi Koyama in Japan?"
-"No but put 165 cm, nobody will care, its women and its Japan, everyone will only play with U.S.A. and Canada anyway"
-"Yeah, you right. It take to much time to look for the correct stats"........
But in the same time, we have to understand that EA Sports NHL are currently working hard on NHL 23. So every update we actually get is a win.
I cant wait to see what NHL 23 will bring us, now when they have had one more year with next gen consoles to use.
I still believe that one day we will get the game that we who playes mostly offline will really love and enjoy every day!
Because I do love NHL 22, there is a lot to love already even if I just play offline.
Few things which I want see in NHL 22 or NHL 23
-> Updated national team masks or mask editor. (similar than in Moto GP video games)
-> Face editor, whom use in career mode and player creating in FIFA 22. ( It's much better than curent face editor what use in NHL 22.It help players create more realistic looking players to game.)
-> All player- and goalie gears, which EA Sports has remove from NHL 22, back to game. (This would help lot of players choose realistic gears for created players, for example if players want create missing alumni players to game and many players in Europe not use yet the lastest gears, some players use for example use yet Bauer Vapor 2X Pro skates or Bauer Flylite sticks)
-> Possibility create players which height is under 170 cm (5'7"). (Dear EA Sports big part of female players are under 170 cm (5'7") tall. When now shortest player which you can create is 170 cm (5'7") , hopefully in future shortest length, which you can choice for created players is 145 cm (4'9") or 150 cm (4'11").
-> color palette for Minnesota North Stars, Quebec Nordiques and Hartford Whalers
-> The following new players- and goalie gears which EA Sport not yet add.

- Goalie set Warrior G6
- Goalie set Bauer Supreme Mach
- Goalie set True L87
- Goalie set True 20.1

- Goalie stick CCM Eflex5-> Possibility change tint of face mask in college helmet , hybrid shield and goalie mask. ( Facemasks colour is usually silver , black or white, not red, blue or some other. EA Sports why we can change tint of visor but not tint of facemask)
-> More historical logos or please add possibility that players can upload own logos to ga
-> Possibility change background color of nameplate
-> More jerseys styles to team creation
-> More arena styles to team creation or new arena creator program to game

- @Atishksingh It would be nice.. but I don’t know if NHL 23 will be good for the offline players… it is definitely the make or break though… they’ve lost a lot of players due to the bad NHL 21 and 22 games that weren’t good for offline players.. 22 made a lot of people throw the towel in… but if 23 doesn’t blow our minds and make up for quite a few years of neglect.. then I think they’ll lose even more
I would love to see many things on this wish list get into the game… primarily things like the feature already in the game get fixed… and features that desperately needed to be added back in instead of being illogically removed like the CHL/AHL.. the ability to edit players.. the big two lol..
