Using a wired connection rather than wireless is always advised.
You might also check for other peoples usage on your connection such as netflix, facebook games etc.
Other usage on your connection can hog it pretty bad, even things that don't have high bandwidth requirements.
I always have my Xbox One hard wired. In regards to other things using the internet, if I can do stuff on other games and not lag, it should have zero impact on my NHL game. Regardless of that, it still occurs even when everyone is sleeping and I'm the only one up.

Do you have a PC? If you do we have a way to examine your connection a bit closer:

I've attached 2 different runs of the program to this post. It seems there is one host where I have a bad connection to. The second run, I think someone may have been downloading or loading something near the very end because it jumped up.

Thanks for the requested data.
The steps with 100% packet loss are most likely nodes that are "no response" nodes and that does not indicate any issue.
Your average ping times look really as good as one could hope for here. Having said that, the second trace has high ping time spikes from your location onward but you seem to be aware of the cause of that.
The first trace has a few spikes from Prolexic onward and this is on our Prolexic/Akamai CDN. If power cycling your router does not give you an alternate routing through there then a call to your ISP may be in order. They will be able to assist you with flushing your DNS and other troubleshooting so that a different (internet) route is taken from you to us.
