Online play with 2 joysticks (2 players per ps4)

Why I cannot add 2nd joystick in Online Vs play? Is it possible at all?

this is totally inacceptable. That was THE ONLY REASON to buy this game!! Online Vs. CO-OP is the most important mode...I DEMAND IMMEDIATE CORRECTION. PLEASE!!
