Overtime bug in playoffs

I found out that the overtime rules (both regular season and playoffs) will change randomly, if I make changes to gameplay sliders during the season. That shouldn't be the case, because I can't find any option to change the overtime rules back. When starting the season I can set the overtime rules but not in the middle of the season. If I reduce skating speed or goalie reactions or whatever gameplay settings it shouldn't affect the rules, but now it ruins the overtime settings and I can't change them back.
