Play With Friends?

I have seen this question asked a couple times with no response.

Are you able to play against your friends in your friends list? 2v2 or 2v1 or 3v1 with the rest of the players handled the CPU?

I would like to be able to do this as if we were all playing on the same console but via friends list/party.

Ideally, I would love be able to party and then play online versus ranked. However, this is likely a pipe dream.

I would settle for playing among my friends and not using eashl or any other variation mode.

Thanks

  • I would like to know this as well. It's one of the reasons I haven't bought the game yet. I don't really have a huge interest in the playing in the EASHL. All I really want to do is to be able to join my friends online or play group 2v1, 2v2, 3v2, etc.

  • Try OTP (separate from EASHL, on the tile below) to use real life clubs with real players and play with more than 2 friends on either side. Bear in mind it might take a while to find games in OTP.  Versus is limited to 1v1 unless you have a friend(s) on same console. You can invite a friend for an unranked match 1v1, otherwise try online team play like I've said above.
