Are you using official controllers or are they third party made controllers? I can really only advise trying one more controller to see if that's the issue. In Battlefield some players for PlayStation had issues with the sniper rifles not shooting because of the sensitivity for the trigger button being pressed too hard over time. Some people gently press buttons while other mash, which mashing can wear down response time.

What system are you playing on and which control scheme do you use (skill stick, hybrid or NHL 94)? Also, have you tried a different controller? Thanks!
- @EA_Aljo I use PS4 with NHL 94 scheme (seeing I played the original NHL 94 scheme in 1994 (laughing). I have tried the game with 3 controllers to replicate it which it does....

Thanks. I have a few more questions for you. Does it happen with skill stick and hybrid as well? Have you tried them both wireless as well as plugged in? Has this always happened or did it just start recently?
- @EA_Aljo I have never played hybrid or skill stick, strictly old school. Yes, it has happened while charging and wireless. It never happened in NHL 20, I just bought NHL 21 and the issue started as soon as I started playing.

As a test, can you try those other control schemes to see if the same thing is happening? Sorry for the delay in reply.....No I didn't try the other control schemes as that is not how I play....I actually bought a new PS4 controller and it has the same issue. It doesn't happen more than a couple times a game, but it is irritating to say the least.

Did you happen to start playing before the full download of your game was complete? I did this back at launch because I was too impatient and came across similar issues.
I recommend backing up all your save files and redownloading your game - be sure not to touch anything until it is 100% downloaded- EA_Aljo
Would you be able to try out the other schemes as a test to see if they have the same issue?
- @TTZ_Dipsy I downloaded the game while I slept, It was 100% good when i started it for the first time.
