How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Be a Pro for an extended duration
What happens when the bug occurs? The player indicator (little v atop the player) as well as the gameplay feedback and shift duration all disappear at some point during the game for the remainder of the game. (Started happening about halfway into season 1 and now happens every 3-4 games)
What do you expect to see? The player indicator to remain so that I can view the coach feedback during the shift and be able to tell when I am supposed to go for line changes

Happens on PS4 as well. Seems to be every time the woman comes on the broadcast to talk about X-Factor skills in Be a Pro mode. I’ve had her do it twice in a game and the indicator came back. It’s already awkward enough they have her explaining players’ skills like they’re comic book powers, but it’s causing glitches in the game as well. Even if there was just the option in the settings to turn off her announcements like we were able to stop Snoop Dogg from turning up every other game a couple years ago. I can barely get through a period of hockey without losing the player indicator. I lose tons of experience because I don’t know when the line changes are. Be a Pro mode is the whole reason I get these games, this is pretty much game breaking for me.
This is really annoying bug, which happens to me in 1 of 3 games on average. Razor's Edge seem to be related to many cases, although maybe not to all of them. A case to test disappearance and reappearance, this happened in two consecutive games on 18.4.2022:

Scenario
- Pro takes a tripping penalty
- Time in the box is simulated
- Opponent scores PP goal during simulation
- --> the icon disappears
- Pro was in the Razor's Edge
- Carla reports her conclusion: opponent is better. Meanwhile on screen: graphics on face-off circle shows Pro fading and opponent staying.
- --> icon reappears
