Playoffs

hi there I bought NHL 20, and played through a season with the Edmonton Oilers, and ended up being in 1st place, in the Pacific division, and when I went to the playoff mode, the Oilers were not on...

When you say Playoff Mode you mean you continued the season into the Playoffs right? It sounds weird, I know, but it's a kind of common thing.

The dedicated Playoffs Mode is separate to Season mode and you should be able to fully customize who participates in that.

I don't believe there is a way to sub teams that late into your season; are you sure you didn't set the game to single knock out and accidentally sim too far? I've done that a few times in season, BaP, and Franchise.

Is it just your team that didn't make it or is nobody showing up? There are times the matchups won't show in the calendar pretty much until the start of the playoffs (hence the sim question).

  Regarding the issue of old roll you mentioned, accidentally simulating too far or setting the game to single knockout might indeed affect the outcome. Sometimes matchups might not show up until the playoffs are about to start, causing confusion.
  If it's just your team or if no matchups are showing up yet, it might be due to the calendar display delay before the playoffs begin. Double-checking the settings and giving it some time until the playoffs officially start could resolve the issue.

    It sounds like you're frustrated with the playoff setup in NHL 20, and understandably so! If you're winning your division but your team doesn't make the playoffs, that seems like an issue with how the game is processing the standings or perhaps a mistake in the playoff mode settings. You could double-check the playoff format, or even try restarting the playoff mode to see if it resets correctly. Speaking of which, it reminds me of how Old Roll MOD APK takes us back to a vintage era, capturing nostalgia and allowing users to tweak their experience, just like you're looking to adjust your playoff teams. Maybe NHL 20 just needs a "retro" fix like Old Roll does with photos!
