This is still a thing? I thought they fixed this last year... Welp, here's hoping it gets fixed when they transition to next-gen
Yeah. It's such a small thing but it completely ruins the playoff mode for me who only play with vintage rosters.
We definitely need this. But the playoff mode sucks. Its way better in season mode where it keeps track of all the stats and injuries are possible which are a huge part of playoff hockey.
It takes more work but I would set up a season with the 16 teams you want in the playoffs. Then fill the other 15 teams with inferior teams like AHL teams.
Skip the entire season all the way to the playoffs.
When they start the 16 teams you picked should all of made the playoffs. Then go for it.
Trust me it way way more fun to play a playoff mode with all stats saved.
