  1. Console: Xbox One
  2. Account Name: GodofBZD 
  3. Timestamp (date/time, with time zone): 4:30 PM EST
  4. Which mode were you in?: All of them, but mainly Threes Online and Online Versus 
  5. What were you doing just before it occurred?: We had tried to reset the console and router. 
  6. How often does this issue occur? Is it 100%, every other game, etc?: 100% of the time, bought this game this morning, it downloaded and now me and my friend who also got it this morning can not play always coming up with Failed to Retrieve Data error. 
  7. Can you attach a picture of the error code or provide the error code number? Attached

We mainly wanted to play together against each other but every attempt we made was met with an error. We reset our consoles multiple times and reset our router once. We never had any issue like this in NHL 19. The other player was BayleeAwesome who also is on Xbox one and having these errors appear during the same time as me and is in est as well.

      I believe the error is that we both have the same EA account as we are brothers and both were linked several years ago while we played together. Now we have different xboxes, we can play online against random people fine but can’t play each other, how would we be able to unlink one account or get around this to play together?

        What happens exactly when you try to play each other? Are you getting that Failed to retrieve data error then as well? If so, when exactly does it occur? Are you able to ready up and then get the error when loading into the game or does it happen earlier? Is it occurring for both of you? Thanks!
