Problem with NHL 94 Rewind

I downloaded NHL 94 Rewind on January 1, 2024, on my PS4.  I have encountered a recurring bug that I can not seem to remedy.  Whenever I start a new playoff series, either New Playoffs or New Playoff...

I've tried about half of the teams so far and oddly enough the only team it happens to 100% of the time is the Pittsburgh Penguins

I tried going through Playstation support for a refund, seeing as the Penguins are my local team and the game for some reason locks me from progressing as them.   Playstation claims they can't do anything, not even credit my account, because there is no bug report from EA.  

If there is no support for this game, I just need to know what I supposed to do in this particular situation.

    Unfortunately, there isn't anything we can do to fix it. We also can't issue a refund since the purchase was made through Sony's store.
