Rebooting your router and possibly disabling IPv6 could be worth your time.
Can we have an update on fixing this.. I have been buying these games since the early 90s.. that's probably 25 years and thousands of dollars but I think this issue is enough to make me not want to buy ea games anymore for the principal.. not to mention this is the most I've ever played for a video game at $100

Great news, a fix for this issue has been identified and will be made available to players in an upcoming update.
The date that this occurs is subject to change and the fix may not be in the next update but it is expected soon.
We apologise for the inconvenience this issue has caused and we are looking forward to getting you back on the ice ASAP.
