Great suggestions! I don't mind tweaking my builds to figure out which attribute works best for my style or current tuner without having more disclosure on affects. I think your 3-5 build slots per position would be a good solution to not having to disclose more information.
Instead of boycotting HUT, why not expand HUT into World of Chel? As much as we all love the CPU all stars like Gill, Brunner, Thomas, and ole Jimmy Capp, make the club CPU players customizable with the player cards. EA doesn't need to necessarily give the attributes of a player like Crosby when the card is applied, but name and player likeness would be a good start.
It would also be nice if we could set the in game forechecking/defensive strategies at a global level within the club as opposed to having to modify them at the start of each game.
Lately, I dread playing into overtime these days because of the high % of games that DO NOT COUNT. You grind out that triple OT win, about an hour worth of skating, only to transition to the End Game Visual without any of the rank point or victory graphics.
It really is fantastic that EA is providing so many different game modes, but without opening the game up to cross play, the matchmaking quality suffers. We play the same clubs several times a week. During playoff stretches is the worst, with some searches taking upwards of 3 searches eclipsing 5 minutes to just find a game.
