Re: All goalie sticks appear white no matter what colour is equipped

I noticed that most goalie sticks were coming out all white in appearance despite having colours assigned to them.

I and others have noticed now that they take the colour of the pads the goalie is wearing, specifically whatever the base colour of the pads is.

for example; Fleurys stick appears brown, because his pads are brown. if goalie have white pads, which a majority do, their stick will appear all white despite having different colours assigned. 

this makes the game feel less immersive than it already is, without even True gear which a majority of NHL netminders wear (60% of starters wear True).

Having the the goalie sticks bugged and still appearing all with a texture of wooden sticks is not so great for presentation. this along with custom teams not having numbers appear.

    I was so stoked to read through all the fixes (there are a lot of them).  Thanks EA.

    However, there is no mention of fixing the goalie stick color issue within CAP.  Also, no mention of CAP without helmets (for Orr, Hull, etc.) or vintage goalie masks!!  Ugh.  Come on man.

    Not sure what we as gamers have to do in order to get through.  Very frustrating.

    @T2HD 

    We'll have to check and confirm whether the goalie stick color changing was addressed in tomorrow's update. Patch notes does not always cover all issues that are fixed.

    @EA_Blueberry Thanks for the quick response! I appreciate that! Keeping my fingers crossed for the goalie stick fix and CAP player helmet/goalie mask fix. Cheers!

    Thanks for the reply again.  I'd be misleading you if I didn't let you know that I'm disappointed.  Here's why I find it so frustrating.  Let's just take one item they added to today's patch as an example for comparison's sake:

    Within the World of CHEL:

    - Added new goal music and animations to creation zone

    I'm not sure who's playing this game and thinking "gosh, I wish there was more goal music available along with another goal animation."  Compare this to the number of people that for years now have been asking for a "no helmet" option and vintage goalie masks within CAP.  I doubt if I could find one person who has asked for new goal music and animations within CHEL for at least three years running now.

    The goalie stick issue should have been fixed as well given the number of people who've pointed out this bug and comparing it to the items that were fixed that I wonder who even cares about.

    Trying to remain constructive in my comments but please appreciate the frustration and disappointment here.  I know I'm not alone.  Thanks again for replying to me.  I appreciate that and I know these things aren't up to you so please forward my comments to the developers.  They need to hear these comments IMHO.
