Hey @vongheeto,

In that case it may be possible that you are encountering a different issue from the other users. Could you get back to me with more details on the problem at hand? What happens when you attempt to go online & if you get any error messages? Can you play any other EA games online?

    It can't find anyone online. I have no problem playing other games, so it's not my connection. It just ends up saying, failed to find an opponent.

    Hey @vongheeto,

    Thanks for getting back to me, the users from this thread are unable to connect to the EA servers which seems to be a different issue than what you are encountering. When you say you have no other issues playing other games online could you confirm that this is the case for other EA sports games too? The reason behind my question is due to the type of connection used for these particular games, if you are having issues it could help us. Could you also share the details of your connection which can be found here:

    1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Network.
    5. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
    6. Select Detailed Network Statistics.
    7. The results should appear in a few moments.

    I do not have any other EA sports games at this moment

    Same for me, the security wasn't even on in the beginning, I turned it on, the off again and nothing works.

    This error message comes up for me when I try to start a game in any online mode:

    Failed to retrieve data; please try again later.

    ERROR CODE:

    12041973D56ED33E-00000000009999-402A33B7F506EB87

    I noticed this error Thursday last week, Im on PS4 and my gamertag/ID is KingQte.

    I haven't got any other EA games either, so I can't tell if it works on them or not.
