Re: Carlyn voice instructions and comments removal option

I sure hope this can happen with the next update:

EVEN while in PSN chat awaiting in the Dressing Room, her voice is heard over those I'm in chat with.

     "Can you repeat that, Carley just made another useless comment in my ear"

VERY many people I speak to in our league communities are extremely annoyed by this:  

I even regret turning the game on knowing I have no option but to listen to her useless banter.

@EA_AljoI really can understand wanting to wait and see over all the negativity, but there's one case where Carlynn is REALLY, REALLY irritating regardless of whether you like her or not (and it's not her fault)...

When in a party with my EASHL team and hanging out between games / waiting for people to ready up, talking to each other in party chat is exceedingly difficult/annoying with another voice chiming in and rambling on unsolicited.  It's super, super frustrating - and it's compounded by the fact that since it's each happening over different timelines/cadences on our local xboxes - we're all hearing her at different times and don't know when she's yapping in someone else's ear, so we don't know to just... wait.

Can she at LEAST be disabled when in EASHL lobbies or something? Or when party chat is active? Anything?

it's REALLY obnoxious to be constantly interrupted by her.

Make it happen   This should almost be number 1 priority.  Poor Carlin, ea has ruined her 

Tried that, but if you turn off all commentary, she is STILL yammering in the DR and when you are in CHE menu's.

It's annoying that you can't hear the people you invite to your PSN party chat because the programming has her saying the same stupid stuff over top of others.

The feedback around this commentator's impact has been relayed to the team. We're not aware of any future plans for changes surrounding this for NHL 22. 

She needs to be muted altogether...her comments while navigating WoC are so frigging annoying...just give us an option to turn her off...please...we've been begging for this since launch

@EA_BlueberryOur community has been asking for this since release date. EA was able to have an option to mute Snoop Dog back in NHL21. THIS should get the same attention and treatment because she is annoying and actually is ON during non-game play. Interrupting PSN chat conversations and each person has it happening at different intervals.

It must be some sort of contractual reason why EA hasn’t given us the option to mute/remove her because I don’t see any other reason why they haven’t done this yet.  

Wouldn't it be great if another company besides EA made a Hockey game?

While there are no current plans to change '22 Carrlyn, I'm sure we'll get more options next year

If you're on a PC if you hold down the Windows Key and press period you can pull up emojis.

I actually like Carlyn.. 🙂

It a fresh different sound to the ones you hear all the game.

But I do agree that you should be able to choose if you want to hear her or not.
