Re: Custom gameplay sliders don't save

It doesn't work sadly. When I return in the Be a pro menu and I got back to my settings, they are changed, it just doesn't appear in game and I need to change them.

Just to be clear, you're changing the gameplay sliders, right? Or are you changing the preset options under Quick Settings and having those not save? Thanks!

Yes I'm changing the gameplay sliders. I think that 23 for pass reception ease is way too low and it's unplayable for me. NHL players don't miss easy pass as often as in the game right now, that's too unrealistic for me. That's why it's bothering me a lot, because I really need to change it everygame or my be a pro player misses 75% of passes. Si I raise it to 50 in the menu, but when I go in game, it's still at 23.

I tested this out and it's working for me. What I'm doing is loading into BAP. Then I go to Settings > Gameplay Sliders. I make my chances and hit Save. Then, I exited and hit Save and Exit. When I load back in, my changes are still in place. Is that what you're doing?

Now I see what you mean. When loading into the game, the changes reverted. I'll pass this on to the dev team, but I don't know if/when this will be addressed. When I have some news, I'll let you know.

Exactly, it always revert to default setting. I hope it gets fixed soon, it's pretty annoying.

This solution does not work for me. I’m having the exact same issue the original author of this thread had. I’ve tried everything you’ve recommend and more. If this was a known problem at the release of 2021, the only explanation for how it could still be an issue for 2022, a year and a half later, is that EA has done nothing to address the bug. 

I just purchased this game and I would like an explanation for why it does not work properly. You offered to follow over a year ago and I don’t consider “it works for me” an appropriate follow up.

Please advise me on how I can get the game to save properly.

It's now June and you still have to go into the gameplay sliders EVERY.SINGLE.GAME in Be A Pro. Let's hope this gets fixed in NHL 23 for gosh sakes.

Please fix! It's so annoying to have to adjust for every game. BAP is useless, unless you're ok with the defaults.

In bap there isn’t a save option, I’m on ps5 playing 22 and I see no save when editing gameplay sliders and I’ve dealt with this issue since last year it’s ridiculous there’s just not a save button you keeping saying there is the save and exit is available but the saving in the gameplay slider section is unavailable and not even on the screen

Save and exit should be saving your sliders, but we're aware of an issue where they don't. This won't be addressed for NHL 22, unfortunately.

"This won't be addressed for NHL 22, unfortunately." Well apparently, won't be addressed for NHL 24 either. Still an issue that you've refused to address for some reason.
