NHL 94 mode is separate playable game mode. The mechanics of that mode are linked to that mode only. I know if you alter the skill level, it adjusts the speed (ex: you skater noticably faster on rookie and prgressivlet slower on each difficulty level).

Yeah you are right about that. However I didnt change ANY settings between BAGM creations. Pro was used on the first one and second.
I only changed settings after to try and isolate what caused the second one to slow down so much, I still havnt found a solution.

Some silly little aspects of this game are really starting to ruin my enjoyment of this game, and I am extremely easy to please with this, I can adapt to the other stuff, but speed, reliability of a game, scouting and drafting, are some key parts, so far, I am disapointed with all of these.

I just managed to get the settings acceptable in a non mode, Play now game. Speed OK, but not like the game when I first played it.

Create a new BEAGM, spend an hour drafting, doing pre season trades and setting my rosters up, first game, SLUG WARS 1.1... It was like watching them drag rocks around, totally unacceptable. I had settings on Custom, meaning nothing should have changed, well it did, I had to go in and set them AGAIN, I put them exactly as I had them in the home screen, and it barely made a different, the players are SLOW, the game is SLOW.

This after the latest Tuner today and roster update.

What the heck did you do? What do I do now? This is seriously effecting my enjoyment of the game, and honestly, I am probably one of the few that is pretty easy to please with this game. I really only play offline BEAGM.

Yes your right EA did slow the game down. But they had to do this to make the game more realistic. I know you dont believe me but its true. To add the new enforcer engine into the game they had to slow the speed of the game down so the engine could fit in. They put the setting in for people who enjoy a fast paced gameplay like NHL 13 and NHL 12. It's a big change from NHL 13 to NHL 14 but in the long run it will be better for the game and he franchise.
