    @EA_Blueberry I think kyl_35 means when players retire in real life, they move them to ECHL to remove them from Franchise mode instead of just bumping down their attributes.

    @kyl_35

    Ah, gotcha.

    Regarding the duplicate players we flagged it down to the team. Hopefully it's fixed soon in another update for you. I thought you had a way to remove a player from your end as a workaround in the meantime we could share with players.
  • This still isn't fixed. I just got the game. I have players in free agency that are signed to other leagues, yet they are still in NHL free agency. Please fix this

    @underoathaaron77 it has been, what you have is just another issue at EA. Just send those guys to the ECHL or international teams and it will be solved

    @EA_Blueberry Just had this happen again after having no problem with it since it was fixed months ago. Posted about this (and other issues) in Bug Reports but have had no contact about them

    @johum2886

    Was this for a newer save file post fix? Also, what players were duplicated and which platform do you play on?

    @EA_Blueberry PS4, believe it was EA’s recent roster (from Dec 8). Tom Kuhnhackl (could have been more but I promptly deleted the save). Save file was started about a week ago.

    All of this information was provided on the Bug Report, I urge that all Franchise Bugs that get reported are looked into because them getting ignored will only cause frustration from customers, and eventually losing them. Nothing against you personally, but seeing nearly every online problem getting responded to the same day and offline ones never seeing anything is ridiculous

    @johum2886

    We have conversations with the dev team members throughout the week and also inform them of what conversations are taking place from players on the forums, including back-end metrics on these forums so they are aware of what is being searched most, discussed, looked at, etc. Overall, most players are online so more issues are bound to be reported on those and/or to our other channels like Twitter and Help Site. We have to coordinate with other teams to ensure we are grabbing information we need or relaying communication that can be effective for both EA and the NHL community. There are important topics for offline modes I see weekly including from a metrics side we relay to them, despite our ability to respond to them.

    @EA_Blueberry I fully understand that most players are online, nor will I ever argue that EA should focus on the offline content more than the online. It's just very frustrating seeing offline bugs being reported, not getting responded to, and not getting fixed. Even replying with "." is enough, let us know it has been seen and someone else knows about it
