Re: HUT ICE TILT

What is commonly referred to as ice tilt is more than likely a lag on your part that the game tries to hide and/or compensate to make the game appear smooth. You can check this by watching when the game kicks over to the faceoff, keep an eye on the game clock you may notice a "skip" in the time by a second or two. If this happens, you are lagging behind your opponent, which makes it appear that you are a step behind and day late with your reaction, this in turn gives it the feeling that your opponent is faster  than you. Plain and simple your opponent sees whats happening before you do which is why you appear to be slower. The best I can tell you is to look up the EA documentation about opening up all your ports to ensure you have a clear path to the EA servers. As for your comment about EA not caring and profiting, don't buy packs plain and simple.

I'm gonna have to call BS on this.  Ice tilt only started a few titles ago.  The lag still happened before then, why did the ice tilt not?  Play HUT and get to division 1.  So far 2 seasons in a row I lost the first game, won the next 4, then lost the next 5 to get bumped down to Division 2.  Even better try to play playoffs and win 3 games to lose the 4th to a worst team with a player who clearly doesn't match your skill.  You might be able to squeak  by with an overtime win, or be a complete annoyance by playing keep away after you take the lead.  Do all that, then try to tell me ice tilt doesn't exist.

  • Not BS, its a very well known issue that many players complain about. It's funny you mention the Div 1 players. Have you looked at their rosters? Are you playing "stacked" teams of Movember cards or Players of the Year? If your team has a majority of base cards guess what? Its going to appear that there is ice tilt. I've played these teams and have two special cards in my line up (Rated 89 and 92), truth be told i can't move on the ice because of the players and their inflated ratings. Clear breakaways are non-existent because the skaters are faster, very frustrating. However, thats HUT for you.
