Re: I lost my pucks but i didnt get the card i bid on

Allegedly, the pucks/coins/whatever currency you wanna call it eventually will come back to your account after "floating" in cyberspace for up to 48-72 hours.  This is according to a number of other posts regarding this matter I looked through.

I did so because earlier this evening I experienced a weird, similar issue; while I did not attempt to bid on any item/player, I opted for paying nearly 200,000 coins for an awesome movember version of a player; hard earned (AND A LOT - 200,000, ugh) coins gone; player was sent to MY COLLECTION, or at least that's the option I chose, and then NOTHING.  I was freaking out, made an official "ticket" with EA's support, etc.  But, after realizing it was too late in the night (3-4am), there'd be no phone service, and their stupid chat service has literally never worked for me - it simply says it's attempting to connect, but never does.

So, I rebooted my PS4, and, assuming you're on PS4 (as opposed to Xbox, which I'm sure has a similar option, though I wouldn't know how to give you instructions), I then shut the system down all together.  Once it was shut down, what you'll want to do at least once or twice a month - especially if you play a lot of games online such as HUT - is REBUILDING your database.  Once system is shut down, plug in one of your controllers (needs to actually be connected), then MANUALLY press and hold the POWER button ON YOUR CONSOLE (e.g. do not simply turn on the system using the PS button on your controller, as per usual); holding the power button on the console will turn it on, keep holding it and about 5-10 seconds later you'll hear an additional "BEEP", and the screen will ask you to plug in a controller and press the PS button.

Next screen you'll have about 7 options; from rebooting the system, changing screen resolution, all the way to reformatting your entire hard drive back to original status.  PLEASE BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!   DO NOT CHOOSE ANY OF THE OPTIONS PERTAINING TO RESTORING TO FACTORY SETTINGS, REFORMATTING DRIVE, etc. as this will ERASE everything on your drive; games, saves, etc.

The only option you'll want is, I think, option 5 ---- whichever number is for REBUILD DATABASE  (note: I just double checked and it is in fact OPTION 5).  The system will "warn" you that it could take "SEVERAL HOURS", but fret not; this is absolutely untrue.   I have a custom installed 2.5 TB hard drive, a little more than halfway filled to capacity, and even with that much space it takes approximately 60-75 seconds, AT MOST, for the rebuilding database.   If the system finds anything corrupt, it will get to 100%, then tell you DATABASE IS CORRUPT, SYSTEM IS RESTARTING; it will then rebuild it again and start up as normal.  If you haven't done this before (I used to do it on my PS3 all the time, too), it's essentially identical to defragmenting a computer hard drive; any corrupt files or displaced/misplaced files will be handled.   It does NOT DELETE ANYTHING.  You will NOT lose any data.  Usually, all of the original popup notifications will reappear (as if you first opened/began the system for the first time), but nothing else.

Anyway, once I did this, and logged back into NHL 16 HUT, my coins were still spent, but the player was finally in my collection.  I also noticed a definite increase in game speed while playing online, and a lot less problems with lag, etc. in general.  SO, good to practice it.  Here's a link with all details I just went over.  Good luck:
