I beleive Innerwalker is right. the closest you are going to get is to change the "Be a Pro Setting" to Authentic and then sim to your next shift.

I believe you can set the settings to classic instead of authentic, that way your player is always on the ice, at least for the most part. As well as when you are on the bench you can hit O/B and call for a line change to put yourself back on.
This is the only way I know of to play constantly in BAP.
