Sorry. I just noticed you said NHL 23. Did you delete that file for NHL 22 or 23? Also, check to make sure your controller has the latest firmware update. If that still doesn't help, try clearing the alternate MAC address with these steps:

Go to your Xbox Settings
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

Cleared the Mac Address and it worked, thank you for the help

My NHL 23 doesn't load up. I tried a few different things but still it doesn't work.

What is happening when you try to load into NHL 23?

I having the same issue. Xbox reads check disc. Hard to believe it would be a bad disc brand new out of package

Unfortunately I have twice lol. I just think it's odd that a brand new disc won't even attempt to lead and gives me a disc error

I agree. That does sound like a disk issue. Do you have another console you can try and make sure? If not, it would be good to get the disk replaced.

Unfortunately no I do not have another console to check it on. I have loaded 13 games with no issue other than the new one with this console just to double check it. Have you seen any issues with a bad disc out of the package before.?

It's not common, but can happen. If you're getting a message that there's a problem with the disk, chances are good that's the case.

Thank you I appreciate the help. So I exchanged the game today and still have the same issue. This is the only game the Xbox will not attempt to read the disc. The game is for the Xbox one if that matters and it's a Xbox one console and not the x series.

I think the likelihood of 2 bad disks is pretty slim. You said you loaded other games. Were they all on disk as well? Have you tried contacting Microsoft support to see if they might have some suggestions? If other games are loading from a disk fine, I wouldn't think this would be hardware related. Have you tried a factory reset of the console?
