Re: NHL20 GamePlay
I fully admit I was a total je rk on the other forums back in the day regarding similar stuff but it all came down to some very suspicious (and constant) circumstances in my EASHL. For clarification my team always hovered top 100 so it's not like we couldn't get hot or cold, we just noticed it was the super weak teams that usually ended up winning.
I understand the official response is no DDA or ice-tilt/whatever you want to call it but I wholeheartedly agree a simple 5 minute demonstration video showcasing how the coding works would go an extremely long way for players. You guys used to do a few kind of "dev-talk" videos back in the day and they were great.
We all have videos of spanking/slapping/dominating opponents amd getting nowhere and they just flub it from center and score when they need to - can you please ask the team to break those videos down? Heck, tear us right down, if our response is "nah that's still BS" instead of "I don't believe that for a second", you know you've won and we can actually put it to rest.
This is a huge issue among players that gets addressed but never really disected.
Edit: you mentioned Nessie - that's easy, you show the process of how the pictures are doctored, use radar to detect it, and debunk the idea with biology and question its food source. In these hockey videos you just need to show "well your character wasn't in position here, this backskate here made you lose speed, oh look at your stamina - it does this this and this to your stats" etc. NHLDev/Ben in the other forums sure seems to love making these statements so maybe you can put him in charge of that? I think we just need visual confirmation either way. Use lots of circles and arrows, Idk maybe some flashing gifs of cats to really drive it home
